Inside Sales Representative 
Citrus Publishing 
Crystal River, Florida


Citrus Publishing is looking for an inside sales representative to work at its office 
in Crystal River, Fla. This position is designed to increase the market share of 
retail and classified display advertising in all of Citrus Publishing's products (7-
day daily, regional weekly newspapers and special publications).  This position 
will receive incoming calls and make outbound service/cold calls.  The position 
will also handle walk-in advertisers from our Meadowcrest office.

Qualifications
* College degree or at least two years of sales experience; advertising 
experience preferred
* Demonstrated persuasiveness and/or sales abilities
* Problem solving, analytical abilities and interpersonal skills required
* Must be skilled in written, oral and interpersonal communications
* Perform daily functions with a minimal amount of direction
* Ability to work well in a team environment

Essential Functions
* Answer incoming calls for our Retail and Classified display ads
* Facilitate the display advertising needs of walk-in customers
* Make outbound service calls to existing accounts
* Develop new customers through prospecting and cold calling
* Develop new opportunities for advertisers to do business with Citrus 
Publishing, Inc.
* Consistently meet or exceed monthly and annual sales goals
* Increase Citrus Publishing's market share through the development of online 
advertising revenue
* Communicate effectively through oral and written communication with 
customers and coworkers

Normal work hours are 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday, though some 
nights and weekends may be necessary.
