Evergreen Newspapers is comprised of three paid mail delivery weekly papers, one free carrier delivery weekly paper, and two mail delivery weekly shoppers. The newspapers are printed offsite. Evergreen is just 27 miles west of downtown Denver and 52 miles west of Denver International Airport. Evergreen is a foothills/mountain town that offers many outdoor recreational activities. Qualified candidates will have proven ability to get results and proven leadership skills to lead four offices with a dedicated staff of 28 FT and PT employees. Candidates should have demonstrated strong team building, delegation and administrative skills. Newspaper management experience - minimum 3 years, including bottom line responsibility, is essential. Advertising sales management experience preferred. Experience and skill in developing and implementing short and long-term strategic plans. Essential functions include developing and coaching an employee team that works well together; achieving desired business results; actively participating in various community functions and events and taking a leadership role in the community; and overseeing business, marketing and growth development of all products published.
